This is where I’ve slept for the past few nights while the paint fumes clear from our house. It’s nice to wake up and look out at the harbour.
A Kodak Brownie Starflex is heading my way. I’m excited to try out a new old camera for my through the viewfinder stuff.
Sherrie usually forces some quince branches sometime before winter is over. Seeing something from our garden blooming makes me believe that spring is coming. I felt a little weird making these blooming branches look out at the rest of the bush stuck out in the winter wind and rain.

We’re having a very good amaryllis season this year. Sherrie picked up three bulbs after Christmas and they all look like they’re going to bloom. This one might have five blossoms and one of the other bulbs looks like it will send up two different flowering stalks. Hopefully our veggies will be as productive this summer.
The weather surprised us by snowing almost enough last night to make me have to shovel the driveway this morning. I was able to get out and grab a few pics before the wind picked up.
