So, I’m back online after my modem and desktop got fried by lightning. I’ve upgraded to a MacBook and am really impressed so far. I don’t see how I could ever go back to running Windows. So, now I’m just weeding through the pile of pictures that I took while I was without a computer. This one is from Pembrooke beach last Sunday.

What drew my eye was how one side of the building is painted and one side is most decidedly not.

So, maybe I did climb around the danger signs to get this shot. But, mom, I promise, I was very careful.

I had a nice quick trip out to the Cape Forchu lighthouse and False Harbour tonight. Even though it was sunny and hot all day it was foggy and just right tonight out there. I got to show a couple of young guys the Through the Viewfinder technique too.
