After the weather getting in the way a few times I finally got to get together to do pictures with Stephanie, Barrett, and Landon. It was a perfect autumn day, made even better by the colours out at Ellenwood Provincial Park. We weren’t the only ones who thought it would be a good day for a session out there (hi Jenny!). These are a few of my favourite shots from the day.
I had a great session with Ashley and Cody a couple of days ago. The finicky autumn weather and trying to coordinate three schedules meant that this had to come together at the last minute. It turned out to be an awesome afternoon session. I love the autumn light.
I just had my first roll of film developed that I shot with my Lomo Supersampler. The Supersampler is really fun to shoot with. After shooting digital for so long now, it was a really odd feeling to get no immediate feedback. Taking that even further is the lack of a viewfinder. It was really fun and a bit freeing to shoot with it. I’m really happy with my first results. I actually came pretty close to what I wanted in the compositions. The fourth shot on each frame overexposes. I’ll have to see what I can figure out to do with that. Here are some of my shots:

My Holga and Supersampler arrived today! I’ve been wanting both of these for a long time. Shooting Through the Viewfinder photos has whetted my appetite for other alternative photographic processes.
